Leading emergency response specialist, Media & Crisis Management (MCM) has announced a major expansion of its Emergency Response Network to meet an upsurge in demand.

New and extended contracts have led MCM to launch no fewer than six new Regional Response Teams in 2018, adding to its existing Network of eight Teams. The new Teams provide 24/7/365 on-call response in Aberdeen, Shetland, Norway, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

This expansion coincides with research conducted by the company into incident support which has revealed that companies most value 24/7 availability and geographical coverage of support, coupled with experience and flexibility of response, when manging incidents.

MCM’s fully-managed welfare and logistics support service for evacuees is driving its enhanced reputation and rapid growth. MCM’s portfolio of services also includes reception centre management and media relations services along with in house call centre capability.

MCM’s success is, in part, built on the experience and adaptability of its specifically-trained response professionals, who all have highly relevant backgrounds including the Police, nursing and related care, Coroner’s offices, the Fire & Rescue Service, HM Coastguard, media and communications professionals and members of the national resilience community.

MCM can now support companies with onshore or offshore operations in any part of the British Isles, with additional teams in Europe, with further expansion into new territories likely as the company grows.
